In October 2012, the posts on my time in South-East Asia from this blog was featured on the GapYearBlog by Frontier, a non-charitable organisation. I volunteered with this company when I went backpacking around South-East Asia and also when I taught English in Fiji. For the 2013/ 2014 academic year at The University of Reading I have been elected as Vice-President of the Travel Society, to which you can read all about the hustings on our blog. I have also written a post for the society on a trip with them in February 2013 where we visited Bath and Stonehenge.
SPARK*
Spark* is The University of Reading's student led, fortnightly newspaper. I have written for both the news and travel section at the paper since starting my first year at University in 2012, from January 2013 I was selected to become co-editor of Travel for the 2013/ 2014 academic year.

Editorial role includes: designing, editing and writing for the section in print and online, commissioning writers for the page, publicising the section through updating the twitter, Facebook and online sections, managing and maintaining relationships with writers through email and personally, building relationships with travel companies, societies and clubs in the University.
